January 4, 2010 - Census Rally!!

Mark your calendars and join us on Monday, January 4th, 2010 to kick off the Census Road Tour in Cincinnati! Everything happens at the Duke Energy Convention Center on Monday, Jan 4th between 6:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. We’ll meet at 6:30 a.m. inside the Elm Street entrance. Look for the van wrapped in the Census 2010 logo.

Here are some of the activities planned:

. A live DJ beginning at 6:45 a.m.
. Tours of the special Census exhibit
. Special Guest Speakers
. A performance by the Cincinnati Freedom Choir
. And, of course, our on-location broadcast for the Today Show!

We’ll be focusing on the many services that the City and our partners are able to provide as a result of a complete and accurate count of our population through the Census.

One City department that benefits from accurate Census numbers is the Health Department, and they will be on hand beginning at 8:15 a.m. to provide H1N1 vaccinations. Come on down to get vaccinated!

We’re also providing on-site Census Job Testing - a great opportunity for those interested in employment opportunities.
